Of course, freedom only exists in that fleeting moment when they’re creating—or when I let go and relax. In real life, all the limitations are still there. People aren’t truly free. We all have responsibilities and obligations. There was a time when I thought I didn’t—that as long as I lived well and did what I wanted, that was enough. But as I’ve come to understand more about the world, I think I do carry a kind of social responsibility, and social duty. We’re always pushing society forward, and society is always pushing us forward too. Everyone has to do their part. No matter what most people might believe, I still think that no one can truly escape their responsibility—or their fate, or what they’re meant to do. That, to me, is the meaning of being here at all.
